Fibre Routers from ISPs

The WiFi router is the lifeblood of your home network and the starting point of a great Internet experience. If your house is on the small size, let say less than 150 m^2, and you’re running less than 50Mbps line, you should be more than ok with the 'router' your ISP has provided. Also as seen here, most of the time you don't need anything more.

It is also worth mentioning that you don't need a "special fibre router" apart from the ONT/CPE device that is supplied from the fibre network. All you need is a wifi router with a WAN port.

Should you have a bigger household lets say three or more people and want the absolute best experience, you can definitely upgrade to one of the better routers.
